Slovenia is the green treasure of Europe. A colorful land with untouched natural environment is lying in the centre of Europe. Slovenia lies in the hearts of Europe, where the Alps meet Mediterranean. Between the borders of Austria, Hungary, Italy and Croatia you will find a chicken-shaped country.
It is not much bigger than an average English county and its population of two million would quickly disappear in the crowds of any major world cities. But its smallness is nothing else than an advantage. In a single day you can take morning refreshment in the Adriatic Sea, enjoy the views from the blooming slopes of Alps in the afternoon and finish the day in vineyards drinking world-class merlot.
This tiny Central European country is simply bursting with attractions – from the atmospheric alleyways of Ljubljana’s old town to the dreamy perfection of Lake Bled; from the majesty of the Julian Alps to the subterranean mystery of Skocjan Caves. Slovenia’s unparalleled natural variety creates plenty of opportunities for adventure and activities - first and foremost some wonderful mountain walking, but also mountain biking and white - water river rafting. Distances are small, thus traveling is easy. We are exceptionally friendly and English is widely spoken - particularly by the young - and there’s plenty of history and culture - which, all in all, makes it a perfect place for an active week!

Since 1991 Slovenia is independent country, since May 2004 it is member of the European Union. It boasts a stable growth in GDP and is viewed as a safe country, ranked among the countries with the lowest degree of risk. Tourism is one of the most developed branches in Slovenian economy. With the traditional hospitality enriched by friendly customs, with unspoiled natural environments and well preserved cultural heritage sights Slovenia offers an opportunity for high quality tourist products - active, healthy, adventurous, often based on ecotourism.
